Bag Guidelines

Morgan State University Athletics, in conjunction with Morgan State University Public Safety (MSUPD), has enacted guidelines pertaining to the type of bag(s) that will be allowed per person attending sporting events on campus. Accordingly, Morgan State University has updated its allowable bag guidelines to clear bags only which will be enforced at all its athletic venues in coordination with increased security measures to enhance safety and expedite entry into the venues. The newly adopted procedure is designed to create a better overall fan experience.

Approved bags under the guidelines include clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags. Other approved bags include one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar) and small clutch bags.

Prohibited bags include backpacks, binocular cases, camera cases, fanny packs, large-printed bags, mesh bags, purses, and tinted plastic bags.

Upon entering a Morgan sports venue, all bags or persons are subject to inspection by event staff and/or law enforcement.

While all fans and guests are encouraged to have an enjoyable experience while on Morgan's campus their safety is of utmost importance. The University looks forward to seeing everyone at a Morgan State athletic event this year.

PROHIBITED ITEMS
Aerosol cans, alcoholic beverages, animals (service animals assisting guests with disabilities are permitted), bags, commercial audio/video equipment and tripods, coolers and ice chests, hoverboards/skateboards, laser pointers, artificial noisemakers, laser pointers, signs larger than 2 feet by 3 feet, outside food and beverages, signs with inappropriate or offensive language and weapons are not permitted at Morgan State Athletic venues.

Consequences for guests exhibiting prohibited behaviors may include ejection from all Morgan State Athletic venues, and/or arrest.
