Parade Information

The Homecoming Parade will start promptly at 9:00 am at The Alameda and Chinquapin Parkway. Proceeding south on the Alameda to Cold Spring Lane. Traveling east on Cold Spring to Hillen Road. Then south on Hillen Road to Morgan State University Campus.

All participants in the parade must arrive at the parade site by 7:30 a.m. The reviewing stand will be located on the Hillen Road median strip across from the Library.

All student organizations participating in the parade will be judged on their creativity and if their submission best represents/describes the purpose, goals, and aims of your organization.

Parade to Leave Shopping Center: 8:30 AM (sharp)
Start Location: The Alameda & Chinquapin Parkway
Route:

South on The Alameda
East on Cold Spring Lane
South on Hillen Road
Ends at Morgan State University Campus

The Parade will Leave the Alameda Shopping Center PROMPTLY at 8:30 AM.
All Bands, ROTC Troops, Student Organizations, and Community Groups should plan to arrive at the Alameda Shopping Center between 7:00 AM -8:00 AM.
- Student Organizations and Community Groups – Check In at the front of the Alameda Shopping Center.
- Bands/ ROTC Troops- Check In behind the Alameda Shopping Center (Walters Ave + Chinquapin Pkwy)
For Safety -Please line up on the sidewalk/ parking lot UNTIL escorted to the Street.
All Parade Participants will be provided a number and letter that will identify their specific School/Organization AND Position in the Parade.
